In picturesque, leafy East Kilbride, just south of Glasgow, the Svihel family’s Salt Caves have long been sought for their calming, therapeutic benefits. Branislav, his wife Monika and their daughter Niky have run the Health Booster LTD - Salt Cave & Halotherapy since March 2022, offering a range of treatments for people of all ages. Since their opening, the Salt Caves have become a core part of community health. The mineral-dense atmosphere in the salt caves has been known to help everything from respiratory ailments to skin problems, and many regular customers have reported feeling better than ever after regular visits. The community has embraced the Svihel family’s venture, and they will soon begin adding other new therapies to the complex. Perhaps the most impressive feature of my visit to the East Kilbride Salt Caves was their diversity. The caves are suitable for all ages and stages of life, including babies, seniors and everyone in between. For the little ones, the caves offer a secure and calming atmosphere. At the same time, teenagers and adults may book extensive holistic treatments, including massages, reflexology, sound healing, Reiki energy work and yoga sessions. This comprehensive range of offerings ensures that any visit can be tailored to the preferences and needs of the visitor. As a result, the salt caves have become a favourite destination for entire families. The Svihel family’s Salt Caves in East Kilbride have become a core part of the community, and the business is a thriving developer of lifestyle therapies that seamlessly fit into the overall landscape of health culture. With such an eclectic mix of treatments, it’s hard to avoid being drawn into the ethos of experimentation, positivity and healthy leisure pursuits. A thriving cultural business succeeds because it cultivates the culture that gives it life in the first place. It’s a benevolent cycle that suggests the Svihel family’s Salt Caves will be part of the community for many years to come.
